I had such a lovely time visiting California, namely for the big event, my sister's wedding! She and Derek had their wedding in San Diego, and everything was just beautiful...the setting, weather, and wedding could not have been more perfect!

I always miss my mom's home cooked meals when I'm away, so of course, she made all my favorites while I was home! We also went to Newport Seafood for their famous lobster...delicious!
Then, it was up north to the Bay Area to visit one of my old college roommates, Megan. We started off the trip with a Bay Area staple: Philz Coffee. I had the iced ginger snap - love at first sip!
Megan took me to Point Reyes for the freshest oysters around...and we got to do our own shucking too!
